Original Review: One for the Elfman purist, chock full of the usual la-la-la themes, heavy on high notes and the choral work. Saying this, though, I still find myself being drawn to the magical, dream-like qualities of this score every time I listen to it. The best cues are the last two: 'Farewell' and 'The Grand Finale', both of which have the same waltzing strings and tuneful trumpets. For some reason, I always think of ice skating when I'm listening to this. Maybe its just me...
